About Mount Olive
Mount Olive Evangelical Ministry began on the 31st day of December 2010, by the Lord Jesus Christ through His servant Pastor Lawrence Ansu, his family and brother Daniel Sekyere Aidoo.
The first service was held in Park Inn Hotel on the 31st night After the first service at the Hotel, God provided a place of worship for us at Hardingstone, Northampton where we fellowship for almost two years, and because that hall was for the general public use, we prayed to the Lord for our own place of worship, and He provided this beautiful place for us.
Through the hard work and dedication of the saints of Mount Olive the Lord have not seize blessing this Ministry. The Men and women fellowship, the choir, the Ushers, the youth ministry and the children ministry are doing fantastic by the grace of God.
The members have done well in love, unity and sacrifice to bring Mount Olive Evangelical Ministry to this far, and we know for sure our labour will not be in vain.
Our Pastor
astor Lawrence Ansu is the pastor of Mount Olive Evangelical Ministry . He gave his life to the Lord in June 1984 and was baptised in the name of Jesus. In January 1984 he received the infilling of the Holy Spirit.
was appointed a Deacon in 1997 and ordained Evangelist by the Bishop Suglo in 2003 in Italy. Moving to the UK in 2008.
Mount Olive Evangelical Ministry was founded under his divine calling ad tutelage in December 2010; And was officially ordained to became a Pastor in 2013
The ministry has grown and continues to grow under his leadership and his vision has seen the birth of various ministries to cater for the needs of the entire congregation. Pastor Lawrence Ansu is married to Reverend Kate Ofori who has been by his side for over 30 years.

Our Doctrine
Mount Olive Evangelical Ministry beliefs are firmly hinged on the word of Jesus Christ and as we engage in worship we strive to live and abide by what is pleasing to God.
We believe that repentance of sins be preached in the name of Jesus.
We believe in water baptism by immersion in the name of Jesus.(Acts 2:38).
We believe in the baptism of the Holy Spirit (St. John 7:37 – 39).
We believe in speaking with other tongues as the spirit gives utterance (Acts 2:4).
We believe in the gift of tongues (1 Corinthians 12:7 – 11).
We believe that a lifestyle of holiness to be the standard of God for the believers (1 Peter 1:15 – 16).
We believe in the appearing of Christ and the rapture of the church (1 Thessalonians 4:13 – 17).
We believe in the second coming of Jesus Christ to the earth with the saints (Jude v14 + 15, Zechariah 12:1 – 4)
